Prince Harry Carries On Royal Range Rover Tradition

Royal family members have long been fans of Land Rover vehicles, and Prince Harry has shown he still very much carries this tradition during his recent tour of Europe.

He might have chosen to leave royal duties behind him and move to the US to escape the restrictions of royal life, but when it comes to vehicle choice, he has remained loyal to the family’s favourite manufacturer.

Together with his wife Meghan Markle, Prince Harry was seen riding in hybrid Range Rovers to London Euston railway station earlier this week from their residence in Windsor, reported the Daily Mail

Their bodyguards also travelled in another black Range Rover for the 27-mile journey from Frogmore Cottage.

Markle and her husband were taking the train to the One Young World summit in Manchester, one of their first stops on their European trip.

After this, they headed to Germany for the Invictus Games Dusseldorf 2023 One Year To Go event.

Whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex choose to use the Range Rovers when they return to London for the WellChildAwards remains to be seen.

However, the royal family have had a long history of using the vehicles for both private and personal functions.

Coventry Telegraph reported how the Queen and the late Duke of Edinburgh frequently used to drive Land Rover cars through Balmoral, Windsor Great Park and Sandringham.

The Queen Mother also famously had a specially adapted Land Rover, which she drove in the ‘60s, while four generations later, Prince George was pictured in a Land Rover Defender on his eighth birthday.
